I was born on July 12, 1975 in Tehran, Iran and grew up in Daytona
Beach, Florida, the world's most famous beach. Daytona Beach is
located on Florida's central east coast. It has twenty three miles
of white-sandy beaches that you can drive on. I attended St. Paul Catholic School and
Father Lopez High School. You guessed it!! Both were catholic schools
and yes some of my upbringing comes from the catholic school and their
style :-) For college, I
attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida. I received a B.S. in
chemistry and graduated with honors. Stetson was a small private school with about 2000 students.
The size had its advantages and disadvantages. You got to know
everyone in your program and almost other people in school but at the
same time there were not much differences in peoples' background as
there are in bigger schools. One of the greatest benefits from Stetson was
its small class sizes. Everyone had to argue and debate about different
issues. I learned some of my greatest lessons from arguing with
classmates. The program gave me a real fine appreciation of going to a
small private school. In August 1999, I attended Georgia Institute of Technology and in May 2001, I received my MBA (Masters of Business Administration). My concentration was in strategy and electronic commerce. While I was at Georgia Tech, I worked for Lucent Technologies in the Optical Fiber Solution. I was responsible for creating a CRM system and a feedback process containing information obtained from key customer visits, Field/Technical Team, Telecommunication Team and Global Customer Care Team. These information are vital in making strategic and tactical decisions and providing feedback to product development, sales teams and other key organizations. After receiving my MBA, I decided to join Accenture. I am a manager and belong to the Customer Relationship Management Global Service Line. CRM (customer relationship management) is an information industry term for methodologies, software, and usually Internet capabilities that help an enterprise manage customer relationships in an organized way. For example, an enterprise might build a database about its customers that described relationships in sufficient detail so that management, salespeople, people providing service, and perhaps the customer directly could access information, match customer needs with product plans and offerings, remind customers of service requirements, know what other products a customer had purchased, and so forth.
